Commentary: Dang Gui Wei is used in this formula because of its greater potency in invigorating the blood • Di Long dredges the channels • Tao Ren, Hong Hua, Chuan Xiong, Chi Shao - move blood to remove stasis • This formula is for deficiency based symptoms • Contraindicated for LV yang rising. Stoke patients with high blood pressure cannot use this formula.

  • Do not use in Wind Stroke and forceful pulse
