Location
Three ways: 1. Find corner of hair, then go 1 cun in at 45 degree to find indentation. 2. Find midpoint of eyebrow (glabella), move midpoint up to the edge of the hairline and then cross over 4.5 cun to the lateral side find ST-8. 3. Use 6 fingers, which is about 4.5 cun from the center line. Point is located 0.5 cun within the anterior hairline. If receding hairline or no hairline, then need to use the glabella as benchmark point. 3 cun above the glabella is where the hairline should be. • This stomach branch ends here
Needling
Type: Transverse    Depth:  0.5 to 1 cun
Description: Transverse insertion 0.5 to 1 cun. (No Moxa
Caution: Contraindicated for moxibustion
Notes
This branch of the stomach meridian ends at ST-8. ST-9 is near ST5, which is the start of a different branch.
