Location
On the dorsum of the foot • In the depression formed by the junction of the second and third metatarsal bones and the cuneiform bones (second and third) • 1.5 cun distal to ST-41 • On the line drawn between ST-41 and ST43 • At the point where the pulsation of the dorsal is pedis artery may be palpated. • Run the finger proximally from ST-43 to ST-41 • Point is located in a depression halfway between the two points • Point may lie on either side of the medial slip of the extensor digitorum longus tendon, which runs to the second toe
Needling
Type: Perpendicular, Oblique    Depth:  0.3 to 0.5 cun
Description: Oblique or perpendicular insertion 0.3 to 0.5 cun 
Caution: Careful not to puncture the dorsalis pedis artery that lies beneath this point

Energetics 1
YUAN SOURCE POINT: Does NOT do anything for the organs. • ST channel problems: Face - burning pain or acne because acne presents in the Yang Ming channel • Heart - psycho-emotional signs like dream-disturbed sleep, mania. Relatively minor point.

LOCAL: Dorsum of foot problems. If someone has lots of foot pain or recent foot surgery, this would be a good point to mitigate the pain and stress on the foot
