In the depression at the centre of the axilla. • Abduct arm • Slid finger up the lateral wall of the chest between the latissimus dorsi posteriorly and pectoralis major anteriorly • Depression at the highest point of the axillary hollow

Type: Perpendicular    Depth:  0.5 to 1 cun
Description: Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun towards GB-21 
Caution: Axillary artery • Pneumothorax
